R. E. Lee Companies Mourns the Loss of Chris Lee

On Friday, December 4th another angel received their wings with the passing of Christopher E. Lee. The R. E. Lee Companies, the Community and Chris’s family have all suffered a tragic loss. Chris was dedicated to building a family of companies committed to the highest standards of conduct – pioneering, honorable, and professional. He was equally dedicated to serving the community he loved, giving back with a generosity of spirit and a thoughtful intelligence. Chris’s devotion to family spilled into the way he cared for his employees and his friends. Thanks to Chris’s vision and deep sense of responsibility for the companies whose foundation was built by generations before him, we are strong, and the Lee family legacy will live on for the generations to come.

We appreciate the outpouring of support from the Community and friends as we deal with this difficult situation. He’s dearly missed by all.

A service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015, 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Memorial Church. Please click here for the church location and available parking. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. There will be a family burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to United Way – Thomas Jefferson Area or Red Cross- Charlottesville.

Thank you all for your support and compassion.

Sincerely,

Dick Abidin Catherine Ann Claflin Todd Cosgrove
